August 2014 - Phase One of the Greenprint has concluded, resulting in the delivery of the DRAFT State of the Valley Report, which provides an overview of the characteristics and trends of the natural resources in the San Jpoaquin Valley's rural spaces, with an eye on resource sustainability for the future. The full report is attached below. The San Joaquin Valley Regional Policy Council will consider this report at their next meeting, scheduled to be held in Visalia during the Annual Fall Policy Conference, October 1-3, 2014.
NEW: The Request for Proposals (RFP) for Phase II of the Greenprint project has now been released! Phase II will build on and extend the work completed in Phase I. It will conclude with the development of a guide for resource management, including examples of strategies and tools used elsewhere, that governments, businesses and communities can self-select to address their economic and resource objectives. See below for the RFP. The deadline for proposal submission is October 21st, 2014 at 5 p.m.
